International Education Center (IEC) is in charge of the international students of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences in every regard. This center was founded in 2016 and its mission is to provide affordable, high-quality medical education to qualified international students. IEC achieves its mission through providing a supportive and stimulating environment in which the students can reach their full potential that includes cutting-edge research facilities and unrivalled resources across the disciplines, as well as personal and welfare support, academic guidance and a sense of community throughout the students’ time here.

Educational centers
Further to its globally accredited curricula, the center holds some short-term courses which are held internationally and inter-university and at the end, it gives the applicants an international certificate. The faculty has developed a curriculum designed to stimulate and support students in the acquisition of advanced knowledge and skills while instilling compassionate attitudes and values so that they may best serve their patients.
VIRTUAL EDUCATION
For the time being since all in-person, on-campus classes have been cancelled in reacting to the fast-evolving coronavirus pandemic, IEC has organized to hold the theory courses online until the current situation calms down again. the aim during this difficult and confusing time is to support students with what we do best so they can feel confident that there will be no problem in this regard. International students can expand their access to this university through quality remote learning and continue their education. Online instruction has been offered via remote course delivery using Navid System, Academic Learning Management System, on which the relevant instructional files provided by the faculty members are uploaded. Further to the LMS provided by the University, the center has planned special educational programs for foreign students through social media in order to have better communication between students and the faculty members. In this condition, the students can benefit greatly from questioning the professors and use the curriculum and course plans in an easy way.
