Shahid Modarres Hospital has a space of 16,000 square meters of infrastructure. This hospital used to operate as an internship and care center for the homeless, but in 1979, after the demolition of Kaveh hospital, the first Isfahan psychiatric hospital, it was turned into a center for hospitalization and treatment of psychiatric patients. It started by receiving 40 patients and opened two wards for women and two wards for men, and then in 1985. The hospital currently has 268 active beds. The wards of this hospital are:

Recently, the hospital has undergone renovation of infrastructures and its electrical system has been repaired and a new emergency department is under construction.
